Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Meloh, provided by Ukesh Saravanan ("we", "us", or "our").

We designed Meloh with privacy in mind and aim to use only the information reasonably needed to provide, maintain, and improve the experience.

Meloh does not require an account, and we do not maintain a separate Meloh personal user database.

Information Stored on Your Device

Some information is stored locally on your device to help Meloh work properly and remember your choices. This may include:

• Your optional profile name and photo
• Your sessions and the time spent in them
• Settings, preferences, and reminders
• Temporary playback or session state
• Other local app data needed to provide Meloh features

This information is not sent to us.

Meloh only asks for device permissions, such as notifications or saving to your photo library, when a feature needs them, and you can change them at any time in your device Settings.

Removing Meloh from your device removes locally stored app data from that device.

iCloud

Meloh may use iCloud to sync supported app information, such as your sessions, settings, and preferences, across your Apple devices.

Meloh does not require a separate account for this sync.

Information synced through iCloud is associated with your Apple Account and handled through Apple's services.

If you delete Meloh, information that has synced through iCloud may remain in your iCloud account and may become available again if you reinstall Meloh or use it on another supported Apple device.

Analytics

We use limited analytics to understand how Meloh is used and to improve the experience.

We use Mixpanel to understand general interactions with Meloh, identify usage patterns, investigate product issues, and improve functionality and reliability. Analytics information may include:

• App version
• Device or operating-system information
• General screen and feature interactions
• App session information
• Technical identifiers needed to distinguish app installations or sessions

Analytics information does not include your name, your photo, or the contents of anything you write in Meloh.

We aim to limit analytics to information reasonably needed to understand and improve Meloh.

We do not use Mixpanel for third-party advertising, and we do not use analytics to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Meloh may offer optional paid subscriptions through Meloh Premium.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information.

We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status and determine whether Meloh Premium features are available. RevenueCat may process information needed to manage purchases and subscriptions, such as product identifiers, purchase and subscription status, and technical information needed to provide subscription functionality.

Payments, billing, cancellations, and refunds are also subject to Apple's applicable policies and terms.

Information You Provide to Us

If you contact us, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message.

We use this information to respond to you and for the purpose for which it was provided.

Third-Party Services

Meloh uses the following third-party services:

Mixpanel
Used for limited product analytics to understand how Meloh is used and improve functionality and reliability.

Used to manage Meloh Premium subscription status and entitlements.

These services process information according to their respective privacy policies and applicable privacy requirements.

Advertising and Sale of Personal Information

Meloh does not display third-party advertising.

We do not sell your personal information, share it with advertisers, or build advertising profiles based on how you use Meloh.

Data Retention and Deletion

Meloh keeps information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is used.

• Locally stored app data can be removed by deleting Meloh from your device.
• Information synced through iCloud can be managed through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
• Information you provide directly to us, such as support communications, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain appropriate records, or comply with legal obligations.
• Analytics information is retained according to our analytics settings and our provider's policies.

Children

Meloh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information associated with the app.

However, no electronic system, device, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Meloh, our practices, service providers, or applicable requirements change.

When we make changes, we will publish the updated Privacy Policy and revise the Last updated date at the top of this page.

Disclaimer

We aim to keep Meloh accurate, reliable, and useful, but we cannot guarantee that the app or every feature will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every individual purpose.

Meloh and its features may change over time, and we may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the app where necessary.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including interruptions, changes to third-party services, device issues, or the discontinuation of a feature or service.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
